It’s Halloween, mutants! Romero’s Night of the Living Dead! We’ve been working tirelessly around the clock to bring you the latest interviews and media content on MVP Mutant Radio to celebrate the Halloween season as well as working behind the scenes on producing movie screeners AND the final online version of Muticia’s Movie Morgue! Say that three times fast if you can! This first episode also features a special interview with the star of G.H.O.S.T. – Kathy Butler Sandvoss and features a musical performance by Absolute Zero!
Enter the Movie Morgue after the leap!
Here at MVP we’ve been longtime fans of horror host shows like Elvira’s Movie Macabre and Joe Bob Briggs’ Monstervision so when we first came up with the idea of doing our own horror host style show – we jumped at the chance. Mutie the Mutantville Mutant had been hanging around the edges of the MVP mythology for a few years making sporadic appearances on the various incarnations of the MVP forum as well as the odd update here or there. It seemed only natural to drop him into the Movie Morgue – and then there was Muticia. Muticia the Movie Goddess had been a long time coming and had all but lept from our collective heads fully clad in red and dancing with the dead so to speak. Be sure to check out some of the earlier articles on Muticia the Movie Goddess here at Mutantville.com for a deeper look into it’s long development.
One thing led to another and we added Muticia’s nemesis Mutantville Martina, Dave the PA and Todd the Crazy FX Guy and the show was complete! There was little room for the founding members of the Mutantville Players so we kept our Movie Morgue incarnations hidden in the shadows. The first episode features several mentions of the mysterious producer “Mr.Majic” while future episodes will hint at the secrets of the “Geo Swankotron 5000” as well as the secret CGI lab known only as “Brentoville.” Needless to say there’s a lot more to come in the future of Muticia’s Movie Morgue – but there’s no need to wait. You can begin enjoying the show right now!
