Looking at Speculative Fiction from Another Dimension.

Mutica, G.H.O.S.T. and Tales from Mutantville, oh my! It’s Fridays with MVP.

Hooray it’s Fridays with MVP!!!

Thanks Muticia it’s time for another Friday! We’re all still terribly busy this week as the final work on the Special Edition DVDs of Tales from Mutantville and G.H.O.S.T. are all but complete. We’re meeting to put the final pieces together on the DVDs as well as do some of the final work on Muticia’s Movie Morgue – just in time for the Halloween season. This means three of our long running projects are coming to an end in the coming weeks – so what could this mean for MVP?

Well for starters we have plans for many other projects down the road – including our next full length feature – tentatively title Blue Harvest II: The Screw Everybody Edition – because quite frankly we aren’t telling people all of our secrets any more. The old saying goes there is no honor among thieves and there sure as shit isn’t any honor among thieving filmmakers. Well they’ll have to come up with their own ideas from here on out because MVP is closing the doors on all behind the scenes footage and updates until projects reach completion. Fret not – MVP co-founder Johnny Brento is spearheading his first side project entitled Take That and we have much more planned for the near future. Did I mention it’s almost Halloween? We have the Carolina Challenge screenings with the Back Alley Film Series and Carolina Cinemas planned for October so look for more announcements about that in the coming weeks.

There’s no time for love Doctor Jones so we now return you to your regularly scheduled program!

BTW our if you haven’t yet -then check out our top three episodes of MVP Mutant Radio while you wait for the next one.

Our top episode is our review of the cult hit Beyond the Black Rainbow.

Number two is our all spoiler discussion of Prometheus.

And number three and climbing is our Summer 2012 Sci-fi & Superhero Blockbuster Extravaganza with special guests Geoff Klock and Phil K.

Let the Mutant TV commence!!!

  1. I heard that “Blue Harvest II” was actually a new take on the Big Foot monster sub-genre. I guess that means a, new re-imagining of “Legend of Bigfoot” in early 2013.
