A Few Brains More: Summer of Blood
This week on Trailer Park Tuesday – we thought we would feature a movie created by some of our fellow North Carolinian filmmakers. A Few Brains More comes to us from director Christine Parker and co-writer Bill Mulligan of the Adrenalin Group based out of Sanford, NC. A Few Brains More is the second movie of a proposed zombie trilogy.

Actors Emlee Vassilos and Michael Ray Williams star as Lily and Jack and the movie tells the tale of their battle against Dead Eye and his unwitting zombie minions. Vassilos and Williams take over the characters first introduced in A Fistful of Brains with verve. I was unfamiliar with the first film going in but I was pleasantly surprised to find that A Few Brains More was a joyous romp through Seventies nostalgia and zombie hijinks. MVP had the pleasure of seeing an advance screening of A Few Brains More at ConCarolinas back in June and we enjoyed the heck out of it.

Thanks for the mention–the movie was a trial by fire but I couldn\’t be happier with the results. One correction though–Michael ray Williams and Emlee Vassilos were not in the original film but stepped into the roles on short notice and did an absolutely smash up job.
We all swore we would never do another zombie film again but now we have been getting the nagging feeling that there is at least one more story to tell with these characters, especially with the additions that Michael and Emlee brought to them.
