On October 2, 2012, Universal Studios Home Entertainment will release Universal Classic Monsters: The Essential Collection on Blu-Ray. This collection will bring you many of the legendary monsters from Universal. The collection contains 8 classic films including: Dracula, The Mummy, Frankenstein, The Bride of Frankenstein, The Invisible Man, Phantom of the Opera, The Wolf Man and The Creature from the Black Lagoon. The collection will also come with a collectible 48 page book featuring behind the scenes photographs, posters and much more. The Blu-Rays themselves will contain many bonus features as well. Instead of rewording the entire list of bonus features (which is huge), I’ll quote the press release below.
