Last year, prior to the release of The Rise of Skywalker, Streebo undertook a thought experiment to see if it was possible to rewrite The Last Jedi and save the character of Luke Skywalker from character assassination at the hands of Rian Johnson. One day before the release of the final film in the so-called Skywalker Saga, Streebo completed the experiment and proved that it could have been accomplished.
