Looking at Speculative Fiction from Another Dimension.

The Evolution of Streeborama: The Long Strange History of the MVP V-log.

Streeborama V-logs – so good they kill you!

The times they are a changing. Halloween candy and pumpkin faced monsters are adorning the aisles of the local Wally World so that means only one thing – capatilism can be a beautiful thing! That’s right Halloween is just around the corner so the next two months belong to the Darkside and that means all things MVP. There are a lot of things in transition at MVP as Tales from Mutantville and G.H.O.S.T. are poised for worldwide release on the internet. With the end of those two long running projects coming to an end – we have many others that are bubbling to the top to take life in the coming year. We’ll have to keep our new projects and developments under wraps for now but fret not – for we have a wealth of materials from MVP years past.

TAKE THE MVP V-LOG TOUR AFTER THE LEAP!

Summer is fading out and the Fall is lurking around the corner so in this time of transition why not look at some of the changes we’ve made over the years. The first MVP V-logs started like any good endeavour in the backwoods of North Cakalaky on the set of the hidden MVP gem Zombie Hunter. Since then, we’ve taken our act on the road to the genre conventions and otherworldly gatherings across the country.

The early V-logs were records of our thoughts and actions at the time. Here’s one from our time working on C for Chaos. We visit lead actress Amy Laughter on the set of her play.

Here’s our first video review – for John Gulager’s FEAST – at the time not meant for Youtube – but instead shared via DVD and VCD.

They became a sort of guide to the genre scene as we took the MVP Roadshow across the country.

Here we are at Horrorfind 2007.

Streebo does a guest spot on the Fanex Files discussion on Hammer Films.

Working on Devil Comes Down.

The American Zombie Film Contest!

Monster-Con 2008!

Working on G.H.O.S.T.

At the premier of George A. Romero’s Survival of the Dead in 2010 with Devil Comes Down!

Working on Scarecrow at Midnight.

MVP at Nevermore Film Festival 2011!

And Nevermore Film Festival 2012!

Fright Night Film Fest and Fandom Fest 2012!

Hanging with Conor McCullagh of Hunger Games and Addy Miller of The Walking Dead at the Mad Monster Party 2012!

Then we came back to our personal V-logs where we could just share our thoughts about the worlds of speculative fiction around us.

Streebo takes on the entirety of Horror Fandom and Critics in his defense of Rob Zombie’s Halloween (2007).

We saw the rise of MVP Mutant Radio which provided MVP and indie filmmakers with a chance to share their stories with a wider audience via iTunes.

And in the coming months – we’ll see the rise of Muticia’s Movie Morgue. The Movie Morgue was born out of our own love of the genre and our desire to express ourselves through an entirely different approach to the medium.

Don’t forget to check out the latest Streeborama V-log as we talk about the age old question – where do you get your ideas?

Keep your eyes on this space and your browsers pointed to www.Mutantville.com to keep up to date on all things MVP!!!
