The horror community is abuzz with excitement over the fact that horror is number one again at the box office as Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D took over the top spot at theaters across the country last week – beating out epic films such as Django Unchained and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. With the impending Evil Dead remake on the way – why not feature another remake of recent years past – Carrie (2002) starring Angela Bettis. Not every remake has to be bad so we’ll have to reserve our judgement about upcoming films until we get the chance to see them. For now – visit this – not so bad after all – remake and bear witness to another sympathetic performance from the highly underrated Angela Bettis as the titular Carrie.
