The Mutantville Players would like to send out a greasy palmed salute to the boys over at Exploited Cinema. Jdog and Bat32 are celebrating the one year anniversary of their show and they’ve put together an unbelievable six hour long extravaganza that is guaranteed to blow your grease stained socks off. Dare I say – for adults only – and greasy ones at that.
Join the fun as Bat32 and Jdog host a call in portion to talk to the fans in addition to a massive four hour roundtable discussion on Rock and Roll Horror plus original music from The Changeling’s new band, trailers, songs, and an extended chat with Teeshirt Joe from Fast Custom Shirts.
The Roundtable features Axl from Profondo Cinema, Jdog and Bat32 of course and MVP’s own Streebo. There was much talk of horror, spandex and the horrors of too much hair spray as we discussed everything from Hard Rock Zombies to Rock and Roll Nightmare aka The Edge of Hell starring the King of Muscle Rock Jon Mikl Thor, to the Roger Corman produced Slumber Party Massacre II to Skippy’s epic metalpiece – Trick Or Treat to the VHS Vault for the obscure slasher gem Hack-O-Lantern. Needless to say if you’re looking for some great Halloween Horror listening with more bad heavy metal than you can stomach then this is THE show you’re looking for.
(Get your ears greased after the leap!)
From Exploited Cinema:
“Happy Devils’/Halloween Night. Exploited Cinema is also kicking off their Birthday celebrations. They’ve been on the net for 1 year now! The boys of grease have a jam packed episode for the listeners. A massive two part show spanning over 6hrs! The first half the guys take phone calls with listeners, and a couple other podcast hosts call in. The second half is a Rock ‘N’ Roll Horror Retro with Streebo from Mutanville.com and Axl from Profondocinema.com. The guys wind the humongous show down with a chat with T-Shirt Joe of Fastcustomshirts.com. So carve a pumpkin, slam some jack, and get ready for our longest episode yet!”
Pop a top, pop a brew and pop on over to Exploited Cinema and download the episodes now – or stream them online. It doesn’t matter to me. Just tell them that Streebo sent ya! Happy Halloween.
