Robert Wise’s The Haunting

In 1963 an eerie film was released by Robert Wise. The Haunting is about Dr. Markway who goes to Hill House to prove the existence of ghosts. Hill House is a 19th century mansion with a history of death and murder. Robert Wise’s directorial credits run from 1942 until 2000 and span from The Haunting to The Sound of Music to Star Trek:The Motion Picture. The Haunting stars Julie Harris, Clair Bloom, Richard Johnson and Lois Maxwell who you may remember as Miss Moneypenny in 15 James Bond movies.
