Giger's Alien is making some sort of returnin Prometheus.
The long awaited and at this point ridiculously celebrated prequel to Ridley Scott’s seminal Space Gothic – Alien – is only one week away. Prometheus opens nationwide on June 8th and that day can’t get here fast enough for some people. Since so many of you are wearing Youtube thin by re-watching the Prometheus trailer over and over like an old vinyl copy of Dr. Suess’s Green Eggs & Ham, we thought we would give you some more Prometheus related material by posting the most excellent documentary – The Alien Saga.
The Alien Saga documentary series can be found in various cuts and lengths on a variety of Alien DVD and blu ray packages – but for this week – we are featuring the entire series here on Mutantville.com. So here’s your chance to hear H.R.Giger’s thoughts on creating his xenomorph and you can follow the history of his unholy creation through the past thirty odd years. By the time you finish watching all of this – it will be June 8th and you can go out and you’ll be able to buy your ticket for Prometheus soon.
