Horror made a comeback this past week as The Devil Inside went from being a million dollar gamble into being a bonafide hit by taking in $46 million at the box office – and counting! The holidays are over and everyone is ready to start the new convention and festival tour for 2012. This Friday, Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining will play at Retrofantasma followed by Lost Boys. Next month we plan to attend the Nevermore Film Festival. Stellarcon is around the corner. ConCarolinas and HerosCon are coming in the summer. Fright Night Film Fest is bringing in Bruce Campbell this year.
After nearly thirty years – Ridley Scott returns to the greatest space Gothic franchise of all time with Prometheus and the prequel story to Alien.
