Exploited Cinema brings the greasy horror podcast talk!

The Mutantville Mothership has been abuzz with activity over the past week.  We’ve been inundated with emails, calls and messages about the Mad Monster Party Film Fest and Streebo has been hitting the four corners of the Internet to spread the word.  Over the weekend, Streebo was invited on the Exploited Cinema podcast to promote the film festival and enjoyed an in-depth conversation with host Bat32 about indie horror and the state the independent filmmaking today.  If you haven’t heard it yet, then click on over to Exploited Cinema and give the show a listen.  Tell ‘em Streebo sent ya!

There are more rumors and gossip about upcoming events at the Mad Monster Party but at the moment we are sworn to secrecy.  Once an official announcement comes from the promoters, we’ll share what we know as well.  Trust me when I tell you – it’s going to be the most exciting horror/sci-fi convention to hit the Carolinas in a long time.

MVP also announced that we’ve locked the date for shooting the first episode of Muticia’s Movie MorgueMuticia’s Movie Morgue will star actors Vanelle, England Simpson, Mutie the Mutantville Mutant, and special guest Kathy Butler Sandvoss of G.H.O.S.T. This show has been a long time coming since first announced in 2009 and MVP can’t wait to share it with you.  Over the years,North Carolina has been home to various horror hosts such as Dr. Evil Phillip Morris and Durham’s own Ormon Grimsby.  Muticia the Movie Goddess looks to keep the horror hosting tradition alive and looks better in a red dress than Streebo does.  Make sure you like the official Mutica the Movie Goddess fanpage on Facebook so you can keep up to date on everything that happens in the Movie Morgue.

There’s always so much happening on the Mothership that it’s impossible to talk about it all at one time.  Streebo completed the scripts for Mutica’s Movie Morgue and The Metatron Files and is currently focusing on his 90 page script for The House At The Edge of Hell with plans to begin shooting in the Fall.  Final post work is being completed on G.H.O.S.T. and Tales From Mutantville – with both projects set to hit DVD in the coming months. From Muticia to the Mad Monster Party, from Nevermore to The Metatron Files, MVP is never content to rest on our laurels.  Thank you all for joining us on this crazy journey.  Believe me when I tell you the best is yet to come.
