Ha. Ha! Long time no causal Brento blog. Today I thought I’d share an interesting side project that I revisit from time to time. I’m creating a massive poster artwork called, “Enter The Net.”
Following in the footsteps of one of my favorite 3d artists, neelzonline, I’ve started my own Mega-Figure Poser project. In my case, the workflow happens entirely in
PoserPro 2010. To avoid scaling and just the general headache of exporting and importing, I’m skipping the Vue part and searching for a way to do this completely inside good ole Poser. Apart from that, I’m following the techniques which neelz lays out in his original thread. You’ll need to be a member of the Daz3d forums to respond but not to view.
neelzonline’s incredible 1111 figure image project can be viewed here.

(Read the rest after the leap!)
flashback37 followed suit with the excellent “Everybody Likes an Apple” project and that really fueled the fire. I HAD to make my own.

My concept is called “Enter The Net” and is meant as visual metaphor of my whole experience of getting exposed to 3D art when I originally came online. Being one of those poor souls who just cannot draw well, 3D art opened me to a whole universe of self expression and for that, I am grateful
So, what we have here is the scene base I settled on with the first several figures included. The size is 5100 x 7020. Of course this forum only supports a fraction of that size so you’re seeing a greatly reduced quality image each time I post. I will do the zoomed in cross sections which neelzonline featured in his thread a bit later. I’ve surpassed 107 figures and am still periodically adding new ones. Who knows where I’ll stop. For now it’s still fun!
