G.H.O.S.T. Audio Completed, Monkeys Make Movie Magic and More on Mutantville Mondays!

The name on the marquee says “MVP”, bitches!

Another week has come and gone on the MVP Mothership and we’re all ready to face another one. Welcome back for another Mutantville Mondays, oh my brethren. Each week it gets harder and harder to find something to say in this weekly updates as work in post-production is so boring. There isn’t much one can do to make the act of editing or sound mixing sound exciting. “Hey gang – we took this clip in scene twelve and moved it forward a half second! Now the entire scene plays so much stronger!” That wasn’t very exciting was it? How about this one ,”we lowered the audio on this clip to -6 so it wouldn’t peak out. Huzzah. I am king.”

Nope. Still boring. But that’s part of the job. There is actual work to be done long after the cameras stop rolling. Long after the actors move on to their next gig. Long after even the producers have begun preproduction on new projects – there is still work to be done. Luckily at Mutantville, we have a team of highly trained green mutant monkeys that perform our editing after midnight and when we awake the next morning – we rush down to our PC and open the new project files with glee and gaze in wonder at all of the changes that have occurred during the night time hours. Or something like that.

Well to sum it up – Geo announced that the FINAL audio mix for G.H.O.S.T. is now complete. We should now be mere days away from finalizing the G.H.O.S.T. special edition DVD and sending it out for review. Keep your fingers crossed and wish us luck as there is still work to be done on the final build of the DVD. I’ll have to cut this short so I can run to the store and buy more monkey food. I have to keep them happy so that they build a good DVD because I worked too damn hard for too damn long to get this thing ready and I’m not letting some banana drunk green monkey screw it all up for me.
