Falling Skies
Once in a while there’s just no offering at the theater that grabs the mutant mind. Nothing fantastic or intriguing to make you want to run out and plop down your hard earned greenbacks. This is such a weekend for yours truly. The Great Gatsby opens but frankly, I’m just not feeling that after last week’s epic fail of Iron Man 3.
It’s actually quite irrelevant with a packed weekend starting early for the kid with demo recording with Absolute Zero this afternoon and “C For Chaos” work with uncle Streebo tomorrow at the vault. Of course, Sunday is Mother’s day and I hope you will all tell yours how much you love her. It cannot be said enough that Motherless children have a hard time when Mother is dead, Lord.
I thought I’d take the liberty of pointing you in the direction of a proper Alien Invasion, Falling Skies, that in this author’s humble opinion is worthy of a look. The cast contains some excellent actors you will know including Noah Wyle, Will Patton and that goddess Moon Bloodgood. The FX is solid for television and the stories of each episode have been compelling enough to keep me into it for 2 seasons. I’m near the end of season 2. Season 3 is now upon us and I’m almost at the point where I can switch over and start watching the shows on TV as they come. I’m heading to the thrills and spills of season 3 as humanity struggles to repel alien oppressors. Hope to see you there.
