It’s my sad duty to report that MVP’s smallest player, Sugar has passed on to that great doggie cineplex in the sky. Here’s a clip of our little friend doing what she loved to do the most, shennagans to keep things light on the MVP sets. Here’s a clip with Sugar front and center doing her thing at 5:55, doggie style! She was a real sweetheart of a pet with a name that absolutely fit her to the T. Originally a gift from my sister, Carla, she made herself at home right away and became and instant member of the family living her life under the same roof as the rest of us on the wrap around porch. She did kill more than one of my chickens and a few kittens as well, but I know that was hard wired into her breed. Considering her contributions to the general atmosphere of joy at our home and I can forgive her. A good friend and swell pet who never failed to sound the alarm when someone unexpected showed up Sugar handled her duties of guarding the property admirable. She was also the one to see me off in the morning and greet me first when I arrived home in the evenings. I’ll miss that the most.
She passed in her sleep in her favorite spot to stretch out at the front of the porch under my daughter’s bedroom window, on the afternoon of July 9th. To say that she will be missed is an understatement. R.I.P. Sugar. MVP Salutes you! Godspeed!
