It was another wild and wooly weekend aboard the Mothership as we wrapped up the final reshoot for G.H.O.S.T. and recorded the last of our foley work as well as completed the final color corrections for the movie.  On top of that we made it out to the theater to see The Thing and Halloween is still two weeks away. Scarecrow At Midnight is playing at three different festivals this month and MVP will be working on the set of Robert W. Filion’s Athena with Matthew Ewald and Vanelle all month long.  Good times ahead.

This weekend saw the release of a prequel to John Carpenter’s 1982 classic – The Thing – eponymously titled The Thing.  The Mutantville Players made the trip to the theaters to check out the film and have returned with the complete rundown for you.

LOCAL FILMMAKER WANTS TO BE NUMBER 26!!!

Our good buddy Chris Baker, whom you may remember from the American Zombie Film Contest in 2009 where his short film The Zombie Hunters made it to the finals alongside Nathan Beznarr’s Antibody, Robert W. Filion’s See The Dead and MVP’s own Devil Comes Down, needs your help.  Chris has decided to enter the ABC’s of Death contest being sponsored by Drafthouse Films with a chance to become the 26th contributing director on the line.  Watch Chris’ film T is for Tips at the link below and if you like it – vote for it!  You’ll feel better about yourself as a human being if you do.

repercussions on all of the characters and their future.  Or perhaps I just made all of that up.  I do know this however – and that is the second season of The Walking Dead played last night.  That gives us as good an excuse as any to post another awesome video with our favorite Walking Dead Zombie – Little Girl herself – Addy Miller! Check out our collection of awesome videos that have nothing to do with the second season of The Walking Dead – but they in many ways embody the strongest moment of the series – when it opened with a bang.  An undead star was born.  Follow Addy Miller on Twitter at @theaddymiller!
