We had another productive weekend aboard the Mutantville Mothership. Streebo spent most of the week doing fine edits on the assembly of G.H.O.S.T. Friday night, Streebo and Brent had a marathon poster designing session which resulted in the creation of not one – but two new one sheets for SCARECROW AT MIDNIGHT. Sunday, Streebo and composer Alex Maudlin met to discuss the progress on the score for SCARECROW AT MIDNIGHT. The premiere of SCARECROW AT MIDNIGHT is just around the corner. Meanwhile, in the Horror World:
Rumors abound that there is a sequel in the works for Michele Saovi’s cult classic DELLAMORTE DELLAMORE aka CEMETARY MAN.
Steve Niles’ (writer of 30 DAYS OF NIGHT) take on Frankenstein, WAKE THE DEAD, has been optioned by none other than legendary guitarist Slash!
The most interesting news coming out of Sundance this week is that Kevin Smith (CLERKS, MALLRATS, COP OUT) is taking his horror film – RED STATE – on the road! That’s right, Kevin Smith plans to distribute RED STATE himself – allowing the movie to play in select cities across the nation.
The script to a proposed EVIL DEAD remake is supposedly making the rounds on producer Rob Tapert’s desk.
Saw 3D makes the leap to DVD as SAW: THE FINAL CHAPTER.
Speaking of SAW, the first clip from SAW creator James Wan’s new film INSIDIOUS, has hit the net.
