Guardians of the Galaxy are coming to theaters this August 2014!!!
This week, Jimmy Kimmel Live featured the World Premiere of the First Guardians of the Galaxy Trailer! I’ve been a fan of writer/director James Gunn’s work all the way back to Scooby Do – I mean Tromeo & Juliet – during his Troma scripting days. His early superhero script for The Specials showed a love for the superhero genre that is missing from so many big budget affairs so when I heard that he was taking the reigns of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy – I jumped for joy inside. If you’re a long time superhero fan you’ll want to check out his grim and gritty take on superhero satire in the aptly titled Super with the inimitable Rainn Wilson in the lead.
