Thanksgiving Horror!

It’s turkey time again so I figured I’d do a post on Thanksgiving. So what happens when you type “Thanksgiving Horror” into Google? You rip a worm hole in the time space continuum. Ok, not really. I started to find a few things and then made a call to our local horror encyclopedia (aka Streebo). He was able to give me a few titles to look up.

One he mentioned was the 1981 slasher film “Home Sweet Home.” It’s about an escaped mental patient (that’s really original…I wonder if anyone else has ever thought of that) that steals a station wagon (screams 80’s) and makes his way to a Thanksgiving celebration. Then the fun ensues. It was directed by Nettie Pena and written by Thomas Bush. It stars Jake Steinfeld (pretty sure this is the Body by Jake guy), Vinessa Shaw (was in Eyes Wide Shut and the 2006 version of The Hills Have Eyes) Don Edmonds, Charles Hoyes and Peter De Paula. After some searching, I found some clips below!

The next one mentioned was “ThanksKilling.” Click the name of the movie to see what the DVD looks like. This film was directed by Jordan Downey. It stars Wanda Lust, Natasha Cordova, Lindsey Anderson, Lance Predmore, Aaron Ringhiser-Carlson and Ryan E. Francis.

ThanksKilling is about a homicidal turkey that axes off college kids during the Thanksgiving break. Nothing like a killer turkey.

I couldn’t embed their trailer, so here it is: ThanksKilling Trailer! (If rough language offends you..don’t click that link and for that matter don’t watch the next trailer either.)

Up next isn’t really a movie. It’s a trailer in GrindHouse. It’s Eli Roth’s “Thanksgiving.” The trailer is below. Warning it does have a little nudity, but it’s a grind style movie, so what do you expect! Enjoy!

Next up? BLOOD FREAK circa 1972! This is about a biker that offers to fix a flat tire of a girl. He winds up at a “drug party” with the girl’s sister. Her father, a mad scientist (never a happy scientist), turns the biker into a giant turkey monster. Of course, what else would he do. It was directed by Brad F. Grinter and Steve Hawkes. It also stars Steve Hawkes. Check out the trailer below.

Hopefully that’s helps you get your Thanksgiving Horror fix! Happy Holidays from Mutantville.com!
