C for Chaos Season Three

C for Chaos Season Three

Aug 2, 2017

C for Chaos is a project ten years in the making. What was started as a simple indie slasher film evolved into an ongoing web series because when we started out we had no idea what the heck we were doing. Armed with six hours of slasher goodness, we’ve embarked on the process of converting it into bite sized pieces for you and your friends to watch on Youtube. Share the link with your family and friends. Spread the word and support free indie horror on Youtube or there will be no more. I’d like to briefly revisit what was a very fun project for MVP and my first official turn beneath the director’s cap.  Prior to the actual filming we got many of the cast members together for a little test run of sorts to create a teaser intended to advertise where season 1 would take us. If that sounds like getting the cart before the horse, that’s because clearly we did just that. In any case it makes for some interesting footage in review. Although ultimately aborted as a continuing web series, the pilot encapsulates what was a tremendously ambitious story. Since the early days of Respawner, I’ve been interested in all facets of expression of this story and chances are there is something more to be heard of this character’s story. In addition to playing both a metal head and a test subject in a deleted scene from Respawner, Donnie Christianson also pull together a soundtrack for this previously unpublished series teaser. There’s a lot of the films big moments in this but also a lot of action that doesn’t appear in the pilot. You saw it here first. I should also mention that this was an uncompleted teaser. In some cases we used footage from the lighting tests with non final costuming and makeup to fill out the teaser a...

Happy Friday, mutants!  Like the song says – everybody’s working for the weekend – and thank Muticia that weekend is finally here!  This week – our good friend and favorite crazy injun Teeshirtjoe from Fastcustomshirts.com unleashed his design for the upcoming Tales From Mutantville t-shirt.  Joe took our baroque EC comics inspired design for the Tales From Mutantville DVD and brought out all the little details to create a truly kick ass shirt design that is sure to hit big with all the little Mutants out there. The MutantvilleMothership has been abuzz with activity over the past week as we’ve continued to screen a ton of great indie flicks for the upcoming Mad Monster Party Film Fest and have moved several projects through various stages of production. Post-production continues as we work to get the final Tales From Mutantville DVD ready for the upcoming Mad Monster Party next month.  The score is still being crafted for the final version of G.H.O.S.T. and as those projects wind down – others are picking up.  The first episode of Muticia’s Movie Morgue looms on the horizon as does the launch of production on our proposed web series The Metatron Files.    With conventions around the corner we’ve had to put some final touches on the MVP convention banner.  You can catch a sneak peek of version one of the design below.  You can expect to see this banner hanging at the upcoming Mad Monster Party next month with the lovely Mutica the Movie Goddess standing beneath it.  To honor the occasion we’ve posted our very cool video with the man himself – Teeshirtjoe!  Check out the full video below and then visit Fastcustomshirts.com for all your custom shirt needs.  Tell ‘em Streebo sent you!
