This week on Trailer Park Tuesday, we’re going to do something out of character – we’re going to talk about ourselves. I know! Crazy, right?
It’s been a long hard road from pre-production in 2009 to the conclusion of post-production at the end of 2011 for G.H.O.S.T. (2011). G.H.O.S.T. (2011) started as an idea for an original television pilot and along the way grew and morphed into a full length feature. It was a labor of love from beginning to end and was only made possible by the contributions of so many talented individuals from North Carolina and specifically the Charlotte area.
Work is still ongoing on the final score for G.H.O.S.T. but after that it’s but a few steps away from the DVD release. Beyond that we do have some cool things planned for the future so stay tuned for an official announcement soon. MVP would like to send out a round of thanks to everyone involved in the making of G.H.O.S.T. (2011).
Without all of you, it wouldn’t have been possible. So without further ado – check out the trailer for the supernatural thriller G.H.O.S.T. (2011) starring Kathy Butler Sandvoss, Matthew Ewald, Steven D. Tucker, Clint Jones, Dave Tunik, Jason Wheeley, Jack Stecher, Kayli Tolleson and more local talent than you can shake a EPK monitor at! Featuring fashion designs by Luis Machicao and special make-up FX by Todd A. Britt, you won’t believe your eyes.

It’s been another busy weekend for the Mutantville Players. We’ve spent another week tweaking and reviewing the final cut of G.H.O.S.T. as well as fending off a constant onslaught of requests from the cast for advance copies of the G.H.O.S.T. DVD. We’re still working hard to complete G.H.O.S.T. in addition to the putting the final touches on Indigo Child to complete the long awaited DVD construction of Tales From Mutantville.
With all of this activity going on – we’re going to have to leave you in the warm embrace of the glow from your PC screen as Mutant TV takes you across the globe and back for a look at all things happening in the world of speculative fiction. We have clips from The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, the Alien prequel Prometheus, Guillermo Del Toro’s video game Insane, TV spots for Stephen King’s Bag of Bones and the latest trailer for the horror TV show – The River.
There have been rumblings about an official trailer for MVP’s supernatural thriller coming from the Mutantville offices for the past month. Fans on Facebook have been privvy to constant updates about work on a “trailer” for weeks on end with little else being offered in the way of explanation. This morning – a video marked “G.H.O.S.T. trailer” has appeared on the Mutantville Players Youtube channel and the internet seems all abuzz about this sneak peek at the latest full length feature from the MVP team.
No official word yet on a release date as writer director J.T.”Streebo” McRoberts states that “there are still a lot of visual FX and music to be done – but we’re making progress every day. The performances we captured were amazing and we’ve put every little horror movie trick we could think of in the movie. In the end – it will be worth the wait.”
G.H.O.S.T. stars Kathy Butler Sandvoss, Clint Jones, Dave Tunik, Jack Stecher, Scott Thomas, Jason Wheeley, Kayli Tolleson and Matthew Ewald. Check out the offical trailer at the link below:

Our good friends at Tri-Rahn Pictures are holding the premiere for their faith-based family drama Pendulum Swings this Saturday at the Marquee Cinemas in Morganton. Pendulum Swings stars Adam Melton as well as MVP’s own Vanessa Ore and Kayli Tolleson (of Indigo Child and G.H.O.S.T.). Come out and show your support for local filmmakers.
From the official press release: PENDULUM SWINGS is based on a true story – a story of a man who loses everything but finds his soul.
DALE JENNINGS has it good – a career he loves, a nice house, and a beautiful family. But Dale’s home is
not a happy one. His marriage to MARIA is crumbling, and Dale doesn’t realize how quickly it’s slipping
away until he loses it all – his home, his work, and his children, JENNA and JESSICA.
Dale spirals fast, and it’s not long before he hits bottom – homeless, in debt to a vicious loan shark,
and ultimately holed up bruised and broken on the wrong end of the law. And when tragedy strikes,
Dale tips over the edge into suicidal despair. But when all seems lost, Dale is offered what might be his
last shot at redemption – and a chance discovery hands him an opportunity for revenge.
