Welcome back for a holiday edition of Fridays With MVP! Streebo here with you to give you a quick update on the land of MVP and all things Mutantville.com. The Mutantville Players have been very busy as we’ve been racing get several projects through the final phases of post-production to beat festival deadlines and our own goal for the DVD release dates. Busy times are good times.

Streebo is off to the Carolina Theatre tonight for Retrofantasma as they feature a double bill of An American Werewolf In London and Death Ship in glorious 35mm. There will be blood and beer and MVP will be on hand as we donate a good copy of BLOODY BEST OF FANGORIA to tonight’s door prizes. Check out the trailers below.

Michael Sharpe, star of Devil’s Crossing, Split and Scarecrow At Midnight, was recently interviewed on the Creepture Feature Horrorshow podcast. Michael has had an exciting start to his career in the Charlotte Film Community over the past year starring in a wide range of productions from Split to Devil’s Crossing to MVP’s own Scarecrow At Midnight. Not only did Michael win “Best Actor” award from the CFC for his performance in Knowing, but he somehow found time to write and direct two independent short films over the past year entitled Monomaniacaland Deviling.

You can find the listing of sides for the upcoming MVP project entitled G.H.O.S.T by clicking on the tab above marked “G.H.O.S.T.” That’s the one right there with the photo of the spooky set of steps. In case you can’t find it – just use the “Scan Mothership” option to the side and search for keyword “sides” which will lead you to this post.
CHARACTERS:
Maya : Thirty-something industrious executive producer of the world renowned G.H.O.S.T. paranormal research team and TV series. Tough. Charming. Energetic.
G.B. : Part-time cameraman for G.H.O.S.T. and full-time horror buff. Awkward yet intelligent. Prankster.
Seth: The sound expert and resident skeptic of G.H.O.S.T.
Maximillian: Elderly caretaker of the Andersonville Opera House. Affable yet kind of creepy.
Byron: Smarmy yuppie. Co-producer of G.H.O.S.T.
Young Maya: Young Maya.
Grandfather: Maya’s elderly grandfather.
Scripts will be given out cold on the day of the audition.Readings will be taken on a first come first serve basis.
