The Exorcist - movie poster

In honor of Linda Blair’s upcoming visit to Mad Monster Party in Charlotte, NC in March, I thought we’d highlight The Exorcist this week! The Exorcist was written by William Peter Blatty and directed by William Fiedkin. It was released in 1973. It stars Ellen Burstyn, Max von Sydow and of course Linda Blair. As many of you know, the film is about a child that possessed by a mysterious entity and her mother seeks help from two priests.

Silence of the Lambs

Anthony Hopkins in The Silence of the Lambs

Anthony Hopkins in The Silence of the Lambs

Author:oscary2008

Last week at Nevermore Film Festival at the Carolina Theatre in Durham, we saw “Silence of the Lambs” on the big screen! It was the first time I’d seen it in a theatre and I heard some sounds I didn’t hear on my not so big television at home. I’d forgotten that Roger Corman made an appearance in the films as well. Anthony Hopkins is so awesome in this film.

I found the trailer, some interviews, some reviews and other cool information about “Silence of the Lambs.” Enjoy!

Prep for Halloween 2 by Watching Halloween Interviews!

The Mutantville Players snagged these interviews for you back in August 2007 – just weeks prior to the release of Rob Zombie’s Halloween. Unfortunately, Scout Taylor Compton, Danielle Harris, and Lew Temple were under contract not to disclose the details of the film before the premiere. Fortunately for us – Lew Temple is a die-hard horror fan and was able to give us a bit of insight into the Rob Zombie’s Halloween as well as touch on John Carpenter’s masterpiece.

Scout Taylor Compton – Laurie Strode from Rob Zombie’s Halloween.

Danielle Harris – Annie Brackett from Rob Zombie’s Halloween.

Lew Temple – as Noel Kluggs from the director’s cut of Rob Zombie’s Halloween.
