Movie Morgue Nears Completion, Scarecrow At Midnight spills Blood On The Beach & More on Fridays with MVP.

The boys are back in town. Bog Zombie Jeremy Mullis, Mutie and Todd A. Britt take a break between takes.

Welcome back to the Mutantville Mothership for another edition of Fridays with MVP! It’s been another busy week here on Mutantville.com as we’ve been pulling footage from the recent Muticia’s Movie Morgue “Zombie Day” shoot from last week – and there’s a brand new MP3 on my desktop which contains the final version of the score for G.H.O.S.T. by Martin Bowes of Attrition. This weekend, the first installment of Tales from Mutantville – our little neo-slasher lovingly titled – Scarecrow At Midnight – will play during the Blood On The Beach Film Festival in Virginia.

Johnny Brento’s JuJu tackles Mutantville Zombie Day 2012

Our Fearless Movie Goddess

Our Fearless Movie Goddess gets to the Heart of the Matter in this Episode of Movie Morgue

Another Johnny Brento’s JuJu Wednesday is upon us. THIS time I have something cool to share. It’s behind the scenes Mutantville Zombie Day inside access. Yeah!!! Sometimes, things just work out, or as old Hannibal used to say on the A-Team, I love it when a plan comes together.

Hint: That's not Beet juice I'm about to dump into our featured zombie's eye.

I got roped into a role as second makeup artist and wound up doing 7 zombie makeups in 2 hours. Obviously it had to be mostly shading with those limitations, but I did churn out one latex creation on a featured zombie portrayed by Lisa Cobb. Being that the footage was going to be converted to black and white, I figured it would carry the impression of undead. I’m happy to report that the footage looks great. I even pulled out the camera and got some footage of the graveyard antics for you, faithful mutants!

This bit from the upcoming episode of Muticia’s Movie Morgue features our movie goddess in her news reporter guise in the field during the events of NOTLD circa 1969, interviewing the ghouls as they return to from the dead.

The second featured zombie, we lovingly refer to as, “Bogman” was portrayed by our friend and by now veteran MVP Player, Jeremy Mullis. He was decked out as a zombie who’d languished in a semi open grave and had the experience of moss growing over much of his face and body.

Muticia Always Gets Her Zombie!

Rise of The Bogman

Here in the Mutantville Cemetery, we see it in full light and it looks amazing. AMAZING! It’s almost as cool as when Burger King switched from Pepsi to Coke products. Sometimes, things just work out!

So, I’m guessing that if you are still reading this far into the article, you really really want to see the behind the scenes video promised above. Be sure to subscribe, like and comment on our video on Youtube. Remember, make your comments on MutantTV tell us what kind of programming you really want to see. So far, apparently you like Streebo’s horror chat and review type Vlogs better than the making of and behind the scenes content which I tend to focus on. That’s why I have one day of programming and he has 5. If that’s not to your liking, make your voice heard on the Youtube comments box for videos featuring content you like the most.

Without further ado, Johnny Brento’s Zombie Day JuJu 2012.

Streeboramaaaaaaaaaa!!!

It’s time for another edition of Streeborama!  Since I’m still dog tired from the mad race through the month of October which included not only working on the set of Image Impact Group’s Athena – but our own double screening of G.H.O.S.T. – I need a break from a bit of this work.  Whenever I get tired of typing – I post videos!  So here you go – it’s the VHS Graveyard Edition of Streeborama!  Enjoy.

Mutant TV returns to Fridays With MVP!

Muticia shows Addy ten fun things to do with severed heads.

Thank MVP it’s Friday!!!  Another week has come and gone oh faithful readers and the weekend is upon us once more.   The weekend is always a majical time because that’s when we can let our creative sides loose like an American Werewolf in London and howl at the Muse’s Moon.  The producers have been very busy over the past few years with production and post-production on our supernatual thriller G.H.O.S.T. and each week we get closer and closer to having the final product complete.

There’s no time to wax poetic about the state of independent horror at the moment as we have movies to make!  I know you’re looking for something to do at work other than your actual work so here are a few videos to keep you occupied courtesy of Mutant TV!

AVOID YOUR WORK BY WATCHING MUTANT TV AFTER THE BREAK!!!

Collector’s Corner Launches a Dedicated Channel

Let’s face it, Mutant TV has a LOT of video content. Streebo recently posted our 350th video. To that end I’ve launched a dedicated sub channel for the Collector’s Corner video’s featuring Streebo & Johnny Brento. I’m calling it VHS Graveyard because I hope to focus my share of the videos on my ever expanding collection of rare and out of print horror VHS. The first episode includes a brief explanation and of the premise and a rather huge unboxing of 50 VHS fresh in from eBay. As you know, posters, toys, movies, posters and all kinds of memoribilia are fair game on Collector’s Corner.

I’d like to make one small correction to the schedule mentions in the video. Collector’s Corner is released here on Mutantville.com on Wednesdays, not Tuesdays. As always please leave feedback in the comment box and like or subscribe to the channel if the show works for you. Sorry, the first few are so dark. That gets corrected around episode 3.

Classic Horror Returns to Mutantville

GreybroI’ve recently become aware of just how cheap some really rare horror flicks have become when sold within lots on ebay. Pennies on the dollar, People! We’re talking slasher, occult, gore, werewolf, vampire and zombie cinema that until now has not cross the radar of most people. Most of it seems to come from the late 70′s and early 80′s it seems and is typically only available on VHS. So you may want to rethink throwing out that old 4 head $39.95 from Wally world. It might just come in handy.

Being one to appreciate all old horror movies, particularly the ones I missed the first time around, I’ve decided to take a journey of sight and sound back to the VHS graveyard to unearth some hidden treasures or in some cases rotting corpses of cinematic ambitions never realized. I’ll be carrying along my camera. You will bare witness. Stay tuned to the Mutantville Youtube Channel.
