Welcome back for another edition of Fridays with MVP on Mutantville.com. It’s been another busy week of post-production as the Mutantville Players have been busy with post-production in a race to get several films ready for the upcoming Nevermore Film Festival in Durham. MVP was fortunate enough to have our slasher short film Scarecrow At Midnight play at the Nevermore Festival earlier this year and we are hoping that one or more of our new films makes the cut for next year.
In G.H.O.S.T. news – the HD conversion has been a source of many headaches during post-production – but we’re still working hard to get it all to come together. Meanwhile in England, Martin Bowes is hard at work on the original new score for MVP’s full length Gothic horror. The final plans for the premiere are coming together so look for an announcement from MVP soon.
MVP is hosting a night at the movies with indie cinema tonight as Kristopher Rufty screens his latest release RAGS on the Mutantville Mothership. RAGS stars the always lovely Vanelle as a backsliding addict that sets out on a mission of revenge. Keep watching Mutantville.com for exclusive photos and reports from the screening.

Welcome to another edition of Fridays with MVP! This week we have something special for you as MVP’s own Kathy Butler Sandvoss has started her own fanpage on Facebook. Friends of MVP will know Kathy from the recent trailer for G.H.O.S.T. and all of you will be able to see the amazing performance she conjured up for the making of G.H.O.S.T. when the movie hits DVD and theaters this winter. Check out Kathy Butler Sandvoss’ Corner with the touch of a button. There’s wine and cheese for all.
Happy Halloween, creeps! The latest video effort from our good buddy Kenny Caperton of the Myers House NC has hit the interwebs and it’s truly awesome! Kenny has been flexing his cinematic muscles since he wrote the script for the Halloween tribute film JUDITH and has been producing various movies and shorts since. This time out – he teams up with Sheri Moon Zombie and MVP’s own Kayli Tolleson (G.H.O.S.T., Indigo Child and Family Fiend) to bring you a rocking new promo vid to celebrate Halloween!
Mutantville Productions is proud to announce that we will be screening the final cut of our full length feature G.H.O.S.T. for the cast and crew this Sunday at 2pm and 6pm respectively. MVP’s own Johnny Brento and his wife Nancee are hosting the event at their home in Albemarle. Everyone is invited to come in costume and prepare to have fun.
There will be a selection of the best horror short films from the area screening before the movie starts. We are very happy to have Michael Sharpe’s Deviling, Chris Gervais’ Junker and Last Call Pictures’ Desdemona 6 on the program. It is truly going to be a Halloween weekend to remember. Visit the official G.H.O.S.T. fanpage on Facebook to R.S.V.P.

Thank MVP it’s Friday!!! Another week has come and gone oh faithful readers and the weekend is upon us once more. The weekend is always a majical time because that’s when we can let our creative sides loose like an American Werewolf in London and howl at the Muse’s Moon. The producers have been very busy over the past few years with production and post-production on our supernatual thriller G.H.O.S.T. and each week we get closer and closer to having the final product complete.
There’s no time to wax poetic about the state of independent horror at the moment as we have movies to make! I know you’re looking for something to do at work other than your actual work so here are a few videos to keep you occupied courtesy of Mutant TV!

Welcome back to another edition of Streeborama here on Mutantville.com. I’m still drowning in an endless stream of editing in a race to get the final cut of G.H.O.S.T. locked in so the visual FX and score can be completed – so I had to shoot another v-log to serve as my blog entry. I shot that so I wouldn’t have to type too much – so why don’t you go check it out now.

Welcome back to another edition of Mutantville Mondays, my faithful droogies! We had another wild and productive long weekend in the editing suites of the Mutantville Mothership. Brento and I were locked inside the Editing Thunderdome for the entire weekend to battle it out with L-cuts, overlays and more after effects work than you can shake a boomstick at! Post-production is wrapping up nicely on G.H.O.S.T. in anticipation of a special screening for the cast and crew for Halloween.
