Magic Tribe Pictures’ “Spades” Teaser heats up Trailer Park Tuesday!

Spades (2010)

This week on Trailer Park Tuesday we are featuring another indie gem the sexy black comedy Spades written and directed by the multi-talented Vanelle.  Spades was conceived and shot for the Made In Charlotte Short Film Contest hosted by the Charlotte Film Community in the fall of 2010.  Spades stars the lovely and talented Jodi Essex opposite the always charming Michael Sharpe fresh off his directorial debut with Monomaniacal as a couple that loves each other so much it hurts.

Check out the full trailer for Spades below and visit the official website for Magic Tribe Pictures by clicking here.

“Devil’s Crossing” Star Begins “Deviling” Second Directorial Effort!

“Sometimes nightmares do come true.”  This weekend, the Mutantville Players are off to help on the set of Michael Sharpe’s (of Devil’s Crossing, Knowing, Scarecrow At Midnight) new movie – Deviling!  Last summer, we were able to join Michael for his directorial debut Monomaniacal (starring the multi-talented scream queen Katie Bearden).  We’re very excited to see what happens with Sharpe’s sophomore effort.

Deviling stars Jodi Essex (Family Fiend and Indigo Child) and Michael Haulbrook and features Tommy Allen Taylor (Scarecrow At Midnight).  A lot of faces familiar to the Mutantville Players will be on the set including those cats from Last Call Pictures – Mac Allen and Johnny Priest as well as the finest D.P. in the state – Robert W. Filion of Image Impact Group and our good friend Kenny Caperton of The Myers House NC.  It should be a fun time for all.

For more information on Deviling please visit the official Facebook fanpage by clicking here.

Keep watching Mutantville.com for your up to the minute MVP news.  This weekend – nightmares will come true!
PS – If you’re on Facebook – be sure to wish Katie Bearden – star of Monomaniacal and Scarecrow At Midnight – a very happy birthday!!!
