RawHeadRex Returns to Collector’s Corner

This week on Mutantville.com’s Collectors Corner ….watchout! He’s back, and this time not in a re-run. Resident poster and VHS geek Johnny Brento has landed this sweet original Rawhead Rex 1 Sheet as well as an original VHS tape of this Clive Barker gem. The word on the street is that these new grabs might just be featured in a video update coming soon. Ah, so little time, so much cool 80′s crap to collect.

Rawhead Rex Devours The Fury in Collectors Corner!

This week on Mutantville.com’s Collectors Corner we bring you two very neat vintage horror collectibles.  First up we have the very cool and very rare VHS for Rawhead Rex!  Rawhead Rex was based on a Clive Barker story of the same name.

Although it is worth noting that there were significant changes from the short story to the movie – there were several shocking moments that made the leap to celluloid in their full on blasphemous glory. Rawhead Rex still has not been given a proper DVD release in the States so that makes VHS it’s only viable format.  This is a real steal for any Clive Barker fan worth his salt.  Place your bid or buy it now by visiting eBay at this link.

For the poster hunters out there we bring you the one-sheet to Brian DePalma’s The Fury!  Check it out on eBay by clicking here.  The Fury starred Andrew Stevens, Kirk Douglas, and John Cassavettes.  The one sheet is of Turkish desgin and is full of retro movie poster win!

The Mutantville Players were on hand for the historic events that unfolded last week at Horrorhound Weekend Indianapolis 2010!  That’s right – we talked to George A.
