Shelby Screamfest with MVP

Well Mutants, it’s that time again. Halloween is just 6 days away and as usual Mutantville has something completely awesome to make your holiday a blastola!

The Don Gibson Theater is hosting it’s first ever Shelby Screamfest Film Festival and Mutantville is well represented by films of both official and unofficial MVP Playa’s! Michael (Scarecrow At Midnight, Family Fiend) Sharpe’s film “Deviling” will teach you the ways of true torment. Robert W. (Indigo Child) Filion’s “Dummy” teaches us mere mortals the value of knowing when you watch your mouth, while S. Brent Bower’s “Take That” shows us the danger of kicking a guy when he’s down. Then there’s Mosaic 33 which will remind you that big corporations are most definitely NOT to be trusted! What am I talking about? Do you know? Nevermind that! It will be one helluva a good time, so put on your scariest and get out to the Don Gibson Theater in Shelby, NC by 7:00 PM for an awesome night of short films for only a few bucks?

What? What’s that? You know who the heck these guys are and why would you spend your hard earn dollars to watch their films? Oh well, IT DOESN’T MATTER WHO THESE GUYS ARE! Shelby Screamfest is also featuring on of the scariest monster movies of ALL TIME! That’s right horror buffs, it’s John Carpenter’s “The Thing” in 35 mm print quality, ie freaking beautiful. Streebo will drive 4 hours to see this film and you only need to drive 1. That’s 6 films for $5. Beat that, I dare you! Be there or be left out in the cold on one of the coolest Halloween events to come down the old chute in quiet sometime! MVP will be out in force and we want you there too Player!
