No Brass is Left Behind on a Delacroix Job.
Shoot day #1 introduced the characters of Reyes Delacroix portrayed by Luis Machicao & Michael Riggs played by Dave Tunik.
The day started around 8:00 for crew members, Brent Bowers, Jamie Mc Roberts, Geo Blalock, Donnie Christianson & Patrick Hessman. We capitolized on an overcast morning to knock out the bulk of Luis’s shots before the granite quarry we were shooting in heated up to hell-like temperatures. It was so hot that we hardly noticed the multitude of mosquito bytes until afterwards. We got our shots and moved into doors for an Effects shot in a dark room in the Realm Recording Stuidos before wrapping Luis around 1 pm.
Mutantville Works on The Big Rock
Back out on the rock we grabbed the necessary shots with Dave Tunik in under 2 hours when we moved back inside the studio to capture the Riggs narration which kicks off episode #1. The day went as smooth as anyone could image and all the performances were truly great.
Mutantville productions would like to extend a special thanks to our host and The Realm Studio owner Eddie Snuggs for his support, expert engineering and hospitality. It’s arts friendly folks like Eddie that make it possible for Mutantville to shoot our projects in actual locations that are what they purport to be on film that allow us to work at the level which we do.
Please check out some of the amazing music Eddie has recorded in his studio (His Youtube Channel is Here) which could only be describe as any musicians dream facility. Our composer/ sound man Donnie was seriously dream struck when he got his first look at the studio. Every musician has had the same reaction when I’ve taken them there. It’s just a truly amazing studio and a real blessing to our production to get to work out of there.
