MVP Mutant Radio is now on iTunes and Streeborama.
This week saw not only the launch of MVP Mutant Radio – but the launch of MVP Mutant Radio on iTunes. The Mutantville Players had the chance to get together to record not only one but two episodes of the new radio show. In order to get accepted to iTunes we had to have a minimum of five episodes in our RSS feed so that meant uploading some MVP Mutant Radio shows from the archives.
We dug deep into the MVP Vault and dug up our best pre-MVP Mutant Radio episodes from the various formats of MVP Player’s Club, Mutant TV and more. We unearthed our discussion on the Nightbreed Director’s Cut Uncut version seen at HHW 2010 as well as our New Year’s Eve 2011 live performance, an interview with promoter Ken Daniels of the Fright Night Film Fest and even a solo episode called “Murder By Music.” Needless to say, all of this great exclusive content got MVP Mutant Radio started off with a big bang. Another Wednesday is here and of course that means another Johnny Brento’s JuJu. This time Johnny B talks G.H.O.S.T., DVD, Cabin in the Woods, The MVP Mutant Radio Podcast and loads of Mutantville News.
The past few weeks have been a flurry of activity for Mutantville with the launch of the long awaited MVP Mutant Radio podcast on iTunes! Be sure to subscribe for your monthly Mutantville fix and likely far more often than that if this week’s content is any indicator.
Tonight the crew swings back into action to shoot another scene for the inaugural episode of Muticia’s Movie Morgue. Next week the performance from Absolute Zero will be film and epsisode 1 will be in the can finally.

This week on Trailer Park Tuesday we’re going with something new, something old and something blue. Or in this case black – as in Snake Eyes the most badass military character to ever grace children’s cartoons. The new trailer for the sequel to the abominable G.I.Joe: The Rise of Cobra has hit the interwebs – and honestly it looks pretty badass mainly due to the presence of the Rock! In the words of our good buddy Shloggs, “it looks like ass kicking word made flesh! The Rock is a national treasure!” Continue Reading…
Join your hosts Streebo & Geo for the historic first episode of MVP Mutant Radio! In this MVP update we have a discussion on Cabin In The Woods and Muticia’s Movie Morgue and we even drop a few filmmaking tips along the way.
Welcome back to another edition of Mutantville Mondays here on Mutantville.com! We had another busy weekend on the decks of the MVP Mothership as we recorded the inaugural episode of MVP Mutant Radio, held our semi-annual MVP meeting, and continued working on various productions including G.H.O.S.T., Tales from Mutantville, and Muticia’s Movie Morgue. If there were a way to get twenty-seven hours out of each day, something tells me even that would not be enough to do all of the things that need doing. Idle hands are the devil’s playthings so we do our best to stay on the right side of the tracks by making the best genre entertainment you’ll find in the Carolinas.
This week was sparked by an awesome deal I found on Amazon. They have a 24″x36″ Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Who Will Survive) Movie Poster for less than $4! Go to convention and try to get a big poster for that. Anyway, finding the poster inspired me to put up some facts about the film and a few videos.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (not pronounced mass a crey…that’s country speak) was released in 1974. I would have seen this in the theater but I was only 6 months old and they wouldn’t let me in. Another example of the man trying to oppress me. As most of us know, the film was directed by Tobe Hooper. Tobe also wrote the film with Kim Henkel. The film starred Marilyn Burns, Allen Danziger, Paul A. Partain, William Vail, Edwin Neal, Jim Siedow and Gunnar Hansen. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a teen feel good movie about a group of friends that visit their grandfather’s house and are hunted down by a family of cannibals. Of course the main character that is remembered from the family is Leatherface who wields a chainsaw and wears a mask made of human skin.
Welcome back to another edition of Scary Movie Saturday aboard the Mothership. It’s been a busy week on the Mutantville Mothership as we’ve been working on so many projects that it becomes a real game of juggling to keep them all going. On top of shooting the first episode of Muticia’s Movie Morgue and finishing post on both the DVDs for G.H.O.S.T. and Tales From Mutantville we have kept the promotional train going with recent interviews with regional filmmakers such as Ken Comito and the Ghost Trek crew. I’m looking at a stack of indie horror movies that I’m reviewing this week and I thought you know what some of these would make great features for Scary Movie Saturday. And then I saw Party Girl and thought it was perfect. This is the indie flick for the grease fiend in you.

Welcome back to the Mutantville Mothership for another edition of Fridays with MVP! It’s been another busy week here on Mutantville.com as we’ve been pulling footage from the recent Muticia’s Movie Morgue “Zombie Day” shoot from last week – and there’s a brand new MP3 on my desktop which contains the final version of the score for G.H.O.S.T. by Martin Bowes of Attrition. This weekend, the first installment of Tales from Mutantville – our little neo-slasher lovingly titled – Scarecrow At Midnight – will play during the Blood On The Beach Film Festival in Virginia.
