Looking at Speculative Fiction from Another Dimension.

MVP Mutant Radio finds Frequency, Sawbones finds new blood and Cabin In The Woods stays strong on Mutantville Mondays.

MVP Mutant Radio is coming to iTunes soon!

Welcome back to another edition of Mutantville Mondays here on Mutantville.com!  We had another busy weekend on the decks of the MVP Mothership as we recorded the inaugural episode of MVP Mutant Radio, held our semi-annual MVP meeting, and continued working on various productions including G.H.O.S.T., Tales from Mutantville, and Muticia’s Movie Morgue.  If there were a way to get twenty-seven hours out of each day, something tells me even that would not be enough to do all of the things that need doing.  Idle hands are the devil’s playthings so we do our best to stay on the right side of the tracks by making the best genre entertainment you’ll find in the Carolinas.

Get your MVP lovefest on after the leap!

Cabin In The Woods (2012) stands up to repeat viewings!

One of the many pieces of the MVP media marketing puzzle has been the long rumored but oft avoided idea of a dedicated MVP podcast.  Well we finally bit the bullet and made it happen by recording our first half hour episode of MVP Mutant Radio on Saturday morning.  Friends and fans have been telling us for years to make our own podcast and we fought it tooth and nail for years as we are filmmakers and want to stay dedicated to our craft first and foremost.  Promotion and marketing has always come second to making movies.  Market research shows that the Apple online store and the iTunes store are fertile grounds waiting to be seeded.  Never one to shy from new technologies and daring new ventures we decided that conquering iTunes was an important step of the MVP marketing plan.  Thus MVP Mutant Radio was born.

Geo and I shot through a quick half hour episode where we discussed everything from Cabin In The Woods to filmmaking to Muhammad Ali.  As Geo so aptly stated during the show “you never know what you’re going to get with this show, folks.”  We’ll do our best to make that come true with each new episode.

Cabin In The Woods brought it’s gross up to $27 million over the weekend while Scarecrow At Midnight screened at the Blood On The Beach film festival in Virginia Sunday morning.  We’ve submitted the Tales From Mutantville films to the rest of the festivals for the year so look to catch a rare public screening at a festival near you.  We’ll premiere G.H.O.S.T. at the upcoming ConCarolinas convention and then Tales From Mutantville at the Fright Night Film Fest in Kentucky.

Look for the RSS feed for MVP Mutant Radio to pop up on iTunes very soon!
