Muticia Returns to Johnny Brento’s JuJu

IMG_4078Hello from your long lost Johnny Brento. Yes, Mutants, I know it has been a while. Yours truly has been on hiatus from regularly updating the site in favor of actually doing things. One of those things is putting together a new intro for the future episodes of Muticia’s Movie Morgue. Just this past weekend, we began shooting that footage. I have to say, it was nice to be back on the set, This time I got to direct a bit and things went really smoothly. To be fair it was a short shoot with not many shots required to accomplish our goals for that shoot. Perhaps that is the key to having more fun and less drama, not being so ambitious shot wise. We had friends old and new along with us and that really made things wonderful. I always like sharing the process with folks who haven’t seen it before.

IMG_4076So, in a nutshell, the new intro involves Muticia in a variety of fake genre movies, on an old style TV. In order to make this feel convincing, each of the so called “Fake” films needs one or two shots that are fully realized. That, my mutant friends is where you come in. We’ll soon be broadcasting the call for Zombies once more. If you’re lucky enough to make the cut, your face could be on the intro for every single episode of Muticia’s Movie Morgue going forward. Talk about a legacy.

This weekend Muticia takes on the guise of a sorceress battling a wizard, played by Tommy Allen Taylor…of the Taylor’s folk. Ha! Ha! You can check out this exclusive update from Muticia herself below.

As usual, Streebo always has the behind the scenes access for you mutants. Check it out below

We also got some fantastic photos of the sorceress makeup, Crazy Todd created. In fact, I’ve created a wall paper featuring Muticia as the Sorceress character. You can check that out in two flavors below.

Don’t forget to Like Muticia’s Fan page to stay tuned in on the progress towards Episode #2. Muticia also has her own dedicated YouTube Channel. If you look at the Mutant TV feed in the left navigation area of the site, Muticia is up on the second rotation.

IMG_4074I almost forgot to convey that a much requested Muticia themed T-shirt design is underway. You’ll be able to see previews of that soon. That’s right Mutants, until Blue Harvest (The Screw You Edition) is ready from writer/ director Streebo Magic, it’s all Muticia, all the time here at Mutantville.com. Cheers!
