Iron Sky coming to Back Alley Film Series, MVP Moving Along, and More on Mutantville Mondays.

Iron Sky (2012)

Welcome back to another Mutantville Monday here on Mutantville.com. It’s been another fruitful weekend for MVP and a good weekend for Charlotte area genre fans as our friends at the Back Alley Film Series announced the confirmation of an exclusive screening of Iron Sky on August 30th. Meanwhile aboard the Mutantville Mothership, we moved several projects further through post-production. There’s not much to report beyond that. The activities involved in post-production such as sound mixing, graphic design or editing seem rather boring compared to the glitz and excitement of the act of filming. So rest assured that we are working on everything – all the while laying the groundwork for future MVP projects and events to come. We have the Carolina Challenge coming up in the fall in conjunction with our friends at the Back Alley Film Series, then Nevermore and the Mad Monster Party next spring.

Before then, we hope to make the trip out to see the exclusive screening of Iron Sky at BAFS on August 3oth at 7:30pm. BAFS programmer Jay Morong has gone out and nabbed another cutting edge new release that is currently making a limited theatrical run across the country. MVP plans to be there to support independent filmmaking, Iron Sky and the Back Alley Film Series and we want to see you there. For more information on the BAFS Charlotte screening of Iron Sky, please visit the official BAFS website.

In the winter, we will unveil our plans for a few eBooks, a filmmaking training course, and more. Muticia’s Movie Morgue is shaping up nicely and the special edition DVDs for both G.H.O.S.T. and Tales from Mutantville are on the way. We’re living in interesting times aboard the Mutantville Mothership and we wouldn’t have it any other way. MVP see ya soon.
