Ghost Trek Wants You, Mad Monster Party Film Festival a Go and MVP Makes Music through Halloween weekend on Mutantville Mondays!

Thanks for joining us for a MVP Halloween all month long.

Welcome back to another candy coated edition of Mutantville Monday here on Mutantville.com! October was a busy month for us as we launched our DVDs for both G.H.O.S.T. and Tales from Mutantville, promoted screenings from here to Timbuktu and released no less than seven action packed episodes of MVP Mutant Radio to lead up to the release of the first episode of Muticia’s Movie Morgue! We wrapped it all up by launching the call for entries for the Mad Monster Party Film Festival 2013! Whew. Did I forget anything? It’s entirely possible because we spent the weekend rocking out with our old friends at Absolute Zero for the Pearson’s Annual Halloween Party and I don’t think I’m quite recovered from the amount of alcohol that was imbibed. It all added up to a breakneck month in the life of the Mutantville Players that resulting in a record setting number of site visits to Mutantville.com not once, or twice but three times last month – and that’s exactly how we like it.

Get the full rundown after the leap!

Our good friends at Ghost Trek are opening a call for extras for their next shoot coming up the first weekend of December. Ghost Trek and creators Michael Plumides and Robert W. Filion have been making noise with the first entertaining episode all up and down the East coast over the past year and this is your chance to join the phenomena! All interested parties should contact Michael Plumides via email at ghosttrekproject@gmail.com.

The ladies love MVP!

Aside from all of the regular MVP Halloween shenanigans this past month – we capped it all off by announcing the call for entries for the Mad Monster Party Film Festival 2013. This year, we’ve expanded the entries as we are going to accept fan films for the first time. The only caveat is that we are only going to accept ONE fan film per filmmaker. We just don’t want to be overwhelmed with 50 Star Wars lego shorts from one guy – we want you to narrow it down to your best work and send that to us. Of course the festival is still open to original works – of which you may submit as many as you like. And yes it’s all still FREE – because MVP rocks and we are doing this to promote MVP, you and the genre itself. The Mad Monster Party is an amazing event so be sure to take full advantage of it!
