FEAST & Piranha 3DD trailer discussion on latest MVP Mutant Radio!

Piranha 3DD & FEAST on this week's MVP Mutant Radio!

Mutants, Assemble! That doesn’t quite have the same ring to it – but it sounds better than “Mutants, mutate!” You have just enough time for your weekly MVP update before rushing off to the theaters to see The Avengers tonight! It’s been a non-stop rollercoaster ride for the Mutantville Players as we’ve continued post-production on everything from Muticia’s Movie Morgue to G.H.O.S.T. over the past week. We also released the latest edition of the MVP Mutant Radio show which features a nice discussion on John Gulgar including his work on FEAST, his time on Project Greenlight 3 and his upcoming Piranha 3DD. We’re busy making our own movies, doing endless promotion and conquering the genre world one medium at a time – and we somehow still found time to help found the Charlotte Film Anarchists mastermind group. Can you say “carpe diem”? Sure you can.

MVP Mutant Radio hit iTunes last week to a rather warm reception. We’ve been thrilled to sit back on the Mothership and watch the shows get downloaded to the four corners of the world. Of coruse our largest following is in the United States and the UK, but we’re also garnering listeners from Canada, Norway, New Zeland, Bulgaria, Pakistan, Malaysia, Germany and on and on! It’s quite humbling to know that our little radio show is going out to so many homes.

Find the MVP Mutant Radio frequency after the leap!

Despite the fact that we’re balls deep in post-production on G.H.O.S.T. for ConCarolinas, Tales from Mutantville for Fright Night Film Fest and Muticia’s Movie Morgue for Channel 21 in Charlotte – we are going to do our best to bring you a quality radio show each week. This week our featured discussion is centered around the work of John Gulager. In “No News” we discuss our thoughts on the Piranha 3DD trailer while this week’s “Thunderdome” segment is centered around Gulager’s time on Project Greenlight 3 and FEAST. To close the show “The Game” segment is featured around how to avoid making your DVD seem overpriced.

The featured musical segment is “Two Gods” by Attrition. Martin Bowes recently completed work on the original score for Mutantville Productions’ G.H.O.S.T. and will be featured on an upcoming episodes where we will replay our archived interview with Martin from last summer. For now you can enjoy the dark atmospheric tones of “Two Gods.” If you are interested in having Martin Bowes compose a score for your film you may contact Attrition through their official website. As always you can download the podcast directly from Libsyn or you may subscribe on iTunes. We’ve also submitted the podcast to the Blackberry directory and there are even apps available for your Droid phone. I would say MVP Mutant Radio is taking over but the conquest already happened while you were sleeping. We’re just now letting you know about it.

It’s coming at you like an art jihad for your brain. This is MVP Mutant Radio.
