C FOR CHAOS

It is one week before Halloween and Arthur’s life is simple. He works in a comic shop with dreams of creating his own superhero comic. His life plummets into chaos when his girlfriend of five years ends their relationship unexpectedly.
A series of ritualistic murders erupts throughout the city. A media frenzy attributes the murders to the mysterious Numbers Killer. When Arthur’s friends begin disappearing one by one, Art begins to fear for his safety, as well as his sanity.

- The Countdown to Evil has begun. -C For Chaos!
I sat down last night and watched the first assembly of C For Chaos in the Mutantville theater. I haven’t actually looked at it wholistically lately so that was a bit refreshing. Of course the assembly is not complete so there’s a lot of the exciting components I’m aware of that wasn’t included, but watching the story unfold again was really neat and reminded me how special this film really is. A band I used to play tried to do some much as a musical 3 peice that in retrospect, we were clearly being overly ambitious. I feel like C for Chaos is insanely ambitious but in the case of this film, we have hit a lot more of those lofty goals than we missed.
A film is never what you see in your head ahead of time. Somewhere along the way it takes on a life of it’s own that is something more than the writer or director or producer ever envisioned. It takes something from all the people behind the scenes, the actors, the artists attached to the production building props and dressing sets.
I’m excited to see how this first assembly will grow and where it all might go someday.
C for Chaos is currently in post-production. The runtime is currently three and one half hours. We are still working towards the final cut and need to complete the FX and music.
