Found this little fan-edit gem while surfing the interwebz – Battlestar Galactica The Promised Land. It’s a well intentioned fan edit combining footage from the mis-guided follow up to Battlestar Galactica – Galactica 1980 – with footage from the original series Battlestar Galactica in an attempt to make a fitting finale for the series. Check it out!

“For a Thanksgiving treat decided to upload my updated version of the edit, and at a better (720) quality, though keep in mind it is originally a 4×3 480 show. The original version has hit over 400,000 views, which I would have never expected! Love that people are enjoying this, and hope they enjoy this updated version. You’ll see some differences in this one, particularly where the patrol takes on the AB Raider… no more ramming! A shot that always bothered me.”
