It was visually stunning - but by the end of the movie - that magic was wearing off to a certain extent. The story itself was so by the numbers that it wasn't as emtionally engaging as the visuals. Still - Avatar is a movie that must be seen in the theater in order to enjoy the visual feast completely. I saw the 3D version of Avatar and enjoyed it very much. It was visually stunning – but by the end of the movie – that magic was wearing off to a certain extent. The story itself was so by the numbers that it wasn't as emtionally engaging as the visuals. Still – Avatar is a movie that must be seen in the theater in order to enjoy the visual feast completely.
